    Privacy Policy

    Last updated May 25, 2026

WALL-E ("we", "our", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what we collect when you use the WALL-E web app at wall-e.miiso.dev, why we collect it, and the choices you have. WALL-E is a product of miiso.dev.

    Information we collect

    • Account data — your email address, a public username, an optional display name, avatar and bio. Your account is provided through your shared miiso.dev account.
    • Library activity — the wallpapers you favorite, the collections you create, and the wallpapers you download. This powers your personal library and credit ledger.
    • Purchase data — when you buy a credit pack, our payment partner Polar processes the transaction and sends us only an order ID, the pack purchased and the total amount. We never see your card details.
    • Authentication data — you can sign in with email and password, with Google, or with Apple. When you use Google or Apple we receive your email and, optionally, your name and avatar.
    • Analytics data — we collect user behavior analytics to understand how you interact with WALL-E. This includes which wallpapers you view, search queries, features you use, and pages you visit. We use Google Analytics and other analytics services to collect and analyze this data.
    • Technical data — basic request logs and error diagnostics, used to keep the app stable. This includes performance metrics and error reports.

    What we do not collect

We do not collect your photos, contacts, location, microphone or camera input. WALL-E never sells your personal data and does not run third-party advertising trackers. Analytics data is anonymized and never directly tied to your email or personal identity.

    Analytics & usage tracking

We use analytics to understand how users interact with WALL-E and to measure the success of features and improvements. Specifically, we track:

    • Page views — which pages you visit and how long you spend on them.
    • Feature usage — actions like favoriting wallpapers, creating collections, searching, downloading, and purchasing credits.
    • Discovery behavior — search queries, category browsing, filtering and sorting preferences.
    • Conversion funnels — tracking the path from free user to paying customer to optimize the user experience.
    • Performance & errors — application errors and performance metrics to identify and fix issues.

This analytics data is processed by Google Analytics and retained according to Google's retention policies. If you prefer not to be tracked, you can opt out by using your browser's "Do Not Track" setting or by disabling JavaScript, though this may impact app functionality.

    How we use information

    • To deliver the wallpaper library, your favorites, your collections and your downloads.
    • To process credit-pack purchases and grant the matching credit balance.
    • To prevent fraud and abuse of the credit system.
    • To improve performance, fix bugs, and optimize features based on usage patterns.
    • To understand user behavior and improve the overall experience of WALL-E.
    • To respond to support requests you send us.

    Where your data lives

Account data, profiles, collections and credit balances are stored in Supabase (Postgres and Storage). Wallpaper files are delivered from Supabase Storage over a global CDN. Payments are processed by Polar (polar.sh) under their own privacy policy. Authentication is handled by better-auth using the session shared across miiso.dev.

    Data retention

Account data is kept until you delete your account. The credit ledger and order history are retained for up to 7 years to comply with tax and accounting obligations. Anonymous diagnostic logs are retained for up to 90 days.

    Your rights

You can view and manage your account — profile, email, password and avatar — on miiso.dev. To export or delete your account, email legal@miiso.dev. Residents of the EU, UK and California have additional rights under GDPR / CCPA, which we honor.

    Children

WALL-E is not directed to children under 13 (or 16 in the EEA). We do not knowingly collect data from children.

    Cookies

We use a small number of strictly-necessary cookies to keep you signed in and to remember your session. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

    Changes

We will notify you of material changes in-app and update the "Last updated" date above.
